Nestled on the north side of Scottsdale this legendary luxury destination resort is world-renowned for its dramatic and innovative architecture that blends seamlessly with the surrounding ancient rock formations. Recently completed four million dollars of golf course improvements. This celebrated resort has 36-hole Platinum Awarded golf, 33,000 sq. ft. Spa, 8 tennis and pickle ball courts and 5 restaurants on site. The Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale, Curio Collection by Hilton has repeatedly been recognized by meeting planners as the “Most Popular Meetings Resorts Award”.
The Boulders Resort and Spa is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, experienced Sales Manager to join their experienced team to secure and manage group events by establishing relationships with customers. Looking for a well rounded, business minded individual who works well in a fast paced environment who can multi-task well.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Research, prospecting, building business funnel, maximizing overall revenues who is a team player.
  • Establish parameters, quotes, and negotiate contracts, and proposals.
  • Provide excellent customer service to strengthen partnerships.
  • Participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events as well as conduct site inspections.
  • Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details using Delphi.fdc
  • Negotiate commission agreements with end-user customers and intermediaries
  • Engage Hilton Worldwide Sales to support the contracting process when needed
Requirements:
  • Previous Hotel Group Sales experience required, 3 years.
  • Proven experience working with third-party intermediaries.
  • Excellent customer service
  • Creative thinker who is solution oriented
  • Strong Negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prioritize and be task oriented.
  • Some travel and tradeshow presentations
  • Proficient in Delphi.fdc., Cvent, MS Office, Excel
